Creating...updating...editing my resume is frustrating.
Everyone has their own input on what they think should be on a resume and at the end of the day I just get worn out and pissed off.
I once met a recruiter (who was at every conference I went to last year) who wanted to see references at the bottom, then another recruiter said no. Parents say one thing, professors say another, mentors say something else, recruiters say another - its a mess!
Finding the common denominator amongst the algebraic chaos has never been so hard! And I HATE math!
I'm suppose to be going out of town this week for the MEAC basketball tournament and thanks to the death of my computer's hard drive (another one bites the dust) I am making use of Morgan's unaccommodating computer lab times to get myself hired!
Why dont the computers NOT IN THE LAB have Microsoft office? grrrrrrrrrrr!!!!! But I digress...
I am currently waiting for the lab to reopen at 6pm because it just closed at 4:45...smh
Late last week I got an email inviting me to apply for a position in Raleigh, NC (thats all the info I'm giving out right now...don't wanna jinx it!) so I'm working to meet that deadline - which is fastly approaching - along with another deadline for the Baltimore Orioles.
As long as I see there are possiblities things don't look so grim.
School is an absolute SNORE.
Trust me I have senioritis at its worst! With the snow day last week, I barely made it to any classes using the student publications office as my haven for other work. Like my awesome internship (you're jealous. i know.)
Next week is midterm week. And then spring break. And before you know it, April is here. The last month of school for seniors. Kind of bittersweet.
I need it all to slow down so I can regroup and get my mind together and get my butt back in classes! sMh...
